Rating : - The best way to store DVDs
I have tried several other methods of storing/organizing my CDs and DVDs, and these are by far the best. I have accumulated 10 of these things over several years. They look classy in my living room with the black leather-like cover, and they aren't so big that they become heavy and unwieldy when they are full. I divide up my DVDs by genre, such as action/adventure, comedy, drama, documentary, and even a folder for movies that are still 'unwatched'. Then I use a silver Sharpie marker to write the genre/category on the long flat looped strap that is attached to each folder at the upper left corner. Then when I place each folder on the bookshelf with the long zippered side down, the strap hangs down along the outward facing edge, displaying the genre name. They look good, take up minimal space, and organize my movies well. Plus they are easily portable. See my photo for how they look on the shelf.
